With 15 + years’ experience at the helm of major organizations, driving program execution, building global coalitions, creating and fostering high-performing, inclusive teams, leading finances and fundraising, and strategic partnerships, and acting as a spokesperson and securing billions of media impressions, I am an award-winning, innovative leader building global movements in service to community.
I am proud of my Romanian roots, as the daughter of immigrants who grew up in Maplewood, New Jersey. I currently reside outside of San Francisco with my husband, David, our two children, and our dog Kai.

My writing
When my children ask me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I always answer a writer. From contributing to the New York Times bestselling book Channel Kindness: Stories of Kindness and Community, to personal reflections published in Psychology Today or on Medium, the opportunity to learn, craft and share stories is among the greatest privileges of my life.
